The Sun Flowers always shine at Laura’s Farm Stand

September 2023

If you want to take a summer day to walk along a 1 kilometre-long sunflower trail, or pick your own wild flower bouquet, then Laura’s Farm Stand is worth the visit. Located on Highway 27 in Essa Township, south of Barrie, Ontario, farmer Laura Currie and her husband welcome visitors to their farm for an assortment of seasonal events.

The summer months are when the sun flowers and the wild flowers are at their plentiful best. The fall months include a 5-acre corn maze and a wagon ride out to the pick-your-own pumpkin patch. On selected nights, Glow Nights in the Corn Maze will entertain the children.

Pick your own beautiful wild flowers, your own pumpkin, enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the farm and capture some great photos of the colourful scenery, including some of you and that special someone.

Various events take place during the summer and fall months, such as Floral Workshop & Charcuterie Picnic, Market Days, with over 100 local farmers, crafters, bakers and artisans selling their goods,

Regardless of the day, Laura and her staff are there to sell you products like honey, maple syrup, corn on the cob, kettle corn and beverages such as lemonade.
