Get out and vote!

April 2025

As has been pointed out very clearly in the Toronto Sun on numerous occasions, this is a very, VERY, important election. For those who believe the polls out there, the Liberals are going to win a majority government, which is astounding given all the scandals and the poor shape of our country. That said, we’ve seen many instances in recent years where polls have been stunningly wrong, so although the saying, “The only polls that matter are on election day,” is usually something uttered by those who are losing the election, there actually is some merit to that saying this time around, given how wrong pollsters have been in some election campaigns. That said, the CPC is not going to win this election if supporters don’t get out and vote.

For those concerned that they may not be able to get to the polls on election day, or any of the advance polling dates, there is another option: vote at your local Elections Canada office. It appears that not a lot of people know this fact, but anytime after the writ is dropped, you can attend your local Elections Canada office, or Elections Ontario office for provincial elections, and cast your ballot there. Bottom line, there is really no excuse for not voting, especially if you don’t want another four years of the Liberal’s disastrous policies.
