Compassion & understanding can help those seeking the road to recovery

Edited by Brittani Schroeder, Editor, Blue Line | Annex Business Media December 2021 I recently found out why a former friend had ended our friendship. I hadn’t seen or spoken to him in several years, for reasons of my own, so this was news to me. As he told me, it had to do with …

Roxham Road resumes operations, in violation of the Canada – U.S. Safe Third Country Agreement

November 2021 If you thought Roxham Road had outlived its purpose, you’d be wrong. The infamous Roxham Road, the now-officially-designated unofficial and illegal Point-of-Entry straddling the Canada-American border at Quebec and New York State, where economic migrants come to make their refugee claims in contravention of the Canada– U.S. Safe Third Country Agreement, has officially …

Follow the money – The hypocrisy of climate alarmism

November 2021 Re: “High on her own supply – Ex-minister still lecturing folks of climate issues” (Brian Lilley, Toronto Sun, 23 November): Catherine McKenna obviously lives in an irony-free world. Isn’t it wonderful that despite no longer being a politician, she still gets to jet around the world, using fossil-fuels to do so, so that …

My fight for justice

November 2021 It’s really a punch to the gut to be falsely accused of something, especially when that accusation results in court action. For the past two years, I have been attempting to get justice for a crime that was committed against me. Beginning in November 2019 and continuing into June 2020 (that I know …

November 2021 In an era when a horse and buggy was the primary mode of daily transportation for the majority of residents, travelling even relatively short distances took hours. Travelling long distances to school was out of the question for most children living in rural areas. For that reason, one-room schoolhouses were strategically scattered throughout …

The $10 Wedge-Issue – What to do about the high cost of daycare

November 2021 Justin Trudeau seems desperate for a legacy, any legacy, and right now he seems to be pinning it on a nationwide $10 per day daycare. Call me cynical, but I know Canadian taxpayers are going to end up with the short-end on this one, and I’m not just talking about the heavy tax …
