This week’s winner of the “Chutzpah Award” goes to the Ontario Public Service, for complaining that Premier Doug Ford’s order that they return to the office 5-days-a-week, will mean added cost for them for things like childcare and travel. Now, I do have some questions: 1) What were you doing before the pandemic? You obviously had expenses going to and from work that you would have been paying over the past 5-years anyway, if not for the pandemic. 2) Why do you think those who have already been ordered back to work, but especially those who never had the option of working from home, want to hear your obnoxious whining?
I certainly agree that working from home is a great option for bad weather days, or if you have a sick family member that you need to take care of for a day or two. Otherwise, get back to the office, or find another job that will allow you to work from home.
