If you’re Jewish, hate certainly does have a place in Canada, as evidenced by the pathetic reaction of our politicians and their lackeys in the leadership of our once valued police services across Canada, particularly in cities such as Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.
It’s been three years since the horrific October 7th terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel and very little has changed. I don’t know what could ever be done to stop antisemitism, as it’s something so deeply embedded in the DNA of some people, but I know of one thing we could right now is to have police immediately shut down any pro-Hamas protests down immediately. Send in the Public Order Unit and the horses to immediately disperse the participants, arresting any who resist. These protests, including the street “prayer” sessions, should be deemed an Unlawful Assembly (Canadian Criminal Code Section 66 (2)) and participants should be subject to immediate arrest upon failing to disburse. Any non-citizens should be immediately deported. Any naturalized citizens should be subject to revocation of their Canadian citizenship.
Further, anyone found wearing a facemask of any kind should be immediately arrested and charged with wearing a disguise. There are very few reasons why anyone should be wearing the facemasks that were ubiquitous just a few years ago. The pandemic is over and if you are actually one of the few people who require on for medical reasons (you are currently sick or are very immunity compromised), then what are you doing at a protest, especially on the wrong side?
Yes, anyone who’s paying attention knows the pro-Hamas protesters are on the wrong side of this conflict. Let’s not pretend anymore that these pro-Hamas protests are about free speech. Anyone carrying out the usual actions, like waving the Palestinian flag and shouting the usual chants while wearing a face-covering of any kind, are antisemitic anarchists and are quite obviously trying to conceal their identity, lest they be held to account for their actions. Until these agitators start losing the free reign of our streets, perhaps along with some teeth too, these protests will continue. We have to stop behaving like we can reason with these agitators. As MC Hammer once said, it’s “Hammer Time.”
