On a cold winter day, or a rainy summer day, an indoor amusement park can be a great option for parents looking for a way to keep the children entertained and occupied. The Woodbine Shopping Centre in Etobicoke, Ontario is home to Fantasy Fair, Ontario’s Largest Indoor Amusement Park.
Opened in 1985, Fantasy Fair features has 12 full-size rides and attractions, including a miniature train ride, bumper cars, a 5500-square foot, three level playground structure, miniature balloon and airplane rides, a rock climbing wall, a 6D ride experience, midway games and an antique 1911 Looff Carousel, one of only two Looff Carousels still in operation in Ontario.



An assortment of full-size animatronic dinosaurs throughout the park will also entertain the kids.
Along the outer perimetre of the amusement park are an assortment of food and souvenir shops, housed in stores with recreated facades of early 1900s building fronts.
A 50-foot Ferris wheel was previously one of the ride options, the only indoor one in North America, but it was decommissioned in April 2024.
Fantasy Fair also offers private rooms for birthday parties, as well as by school, camp or daycare trips for group activities.
Operating year-round, Fantasy Fair is geared mostly to younger children, but even teenagers and parents can find enough to keep themselves amused all afternoon on bad weather days, including shopping in some of the mall’s 130 plus stores.
