Well, it’s official. The new mayor of New York City is Zohran Mamdani, the 34-year-old New York State Assemblyman from New York’s 36th State Assembly district.
It never ceases to amaze me how the useful idiots on the political left keep tightening the noose around their own necks and other liberal democracies by allowing Islamic radicals to take over our institutions and political offices. Although it shouldn’t have to be said, I draw a VERY clear line between peaceful, liberal Muslims, who just want to worship and live their lives in peace, and the radical, jihadist Islamists, who want to impose their draconian, Sharia-loving beliefs on the infidels.
It also shouldn’t have to be said, but infidels also includes Muslims whom the radicals deem inferior to their version of Islam. Remember, Muslims across the world are persecuted by their fellow Muslims more than they are by any other religion.
It’s tragically ironic that the anti-Trumper and anti-Republican progressives have embraced the Handmaid motif, from Canadian author Margaret Attwood’s 1985 novel, The Handmaid’s Tale, to symbolize the oppression of women, particularly in relation to reproductive rights and other laws that strip away their bodily autonomy. It’s quite apparent that the Sharia-loving radicals are taking away more than reproductive rights and bodily autonomy rights. It’s also apparent that these radical progressive want to impose their anti-family and anti-religion philosophies, also known as Marxism.
Do these Handmaid cosplayers not realize that Gilead, the fictional empire that takes over the liberal democracy of the United Stated of America, was actually a stand-in for the Islamic revolution in Persia, now known as the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This revolution in 1978-1979 saw a theocratic dictatorship seize control of Iran, which then imposed strict dress code on women, along with drastically reducing the rights of women to lower than that of dogs. Political opponents, dissidents and infidels face persecution, arbitrary imprisonment and summary executions with little attention paid to human rights. Sound familiar?
Now, those same progressives have embraced the Zohran Mamdani, an Islamist and Marxist; a guy who touts the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divest, and Sanction (BDS) movement; a guy who wants to “globalize the Intifada,” and promotes the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, as the next mayor of New York City, a city that has the largest Jewish population outside of Israel. For the first time in American history, we might see the an actual Gilead take over New York City, along with the specter of Sharia Law, with its dictates that women be covered with the face-obscuring burka and denied many of the human rights and the rule of law that liberal democracies cherish.
For those who don’t know, Gilead is the ancient, biblical name of the mountainous northern part of the region of Transjordan, the present-day Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a 95% Sunni Islamic country. Although the country is officially a constitutional monarchy, King Abdullah II retains wide executive and legislative powers from the government and parliament. Further, Freedom House, a non-profit political advocacy group founded in Washington, D.C. in October 1941, ranked Jordan as “Not Free” in the Freedom in the World report in 2022.
Unlike the fictional Gilead, which conquered America by an armed insurrection on the three branches of government, the new Gilead, also known as NYC, was conquered at the ballot box by idiotic lovers of Socialism, who have no idea what it’s like to actually live under a Socialist government. Those same useful idiots include, amongst others, the Handmaid cosplayers, naive morons who believe that government should be providing “free” everything to everyone, believe in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, along with the ones you hear at the almost daily “protests” across Canada and America, chanting “Free, free, Palestine” and “Stop the Gaza genocide.” See the problem here?
