As reported by the Associated Press: “Members of the House committee investigating the U.S. Capitol riot say they’ve uncovered enough evidence for the Justice Department to consider an unprecedented criminal indictment against former President Donald Trump for seeking to overturn the results of the 2020 election.”
I hesitate to call them liars, as I haven’t seen the evidence they have, but aren’t these the same lot who were convinced Trump was a Russian agent and that the Steele Dossier was authentic? Oh right, that didn’t turn out too well! I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess this whole exercise is to change the channel on Biden’s failure as President and to hopefully prevent Trump from making another run at the White House. If it actually succeeds in uncovering the truth about January 6, that’s just a bonus.
