UK Prime Minister makes surprise visit to war-torn Ukraine – What about Junior?

Published in the Toronto Sun

22 April 2022

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s surprise visit to war-torn Kyiv on 9 April was both inspiring and a genius demonstration of support from the UK. In a way, I wish that our own Prime Minister Blackface would do the same thing, but on the other hand, I fear that he would only embarrass and humiliate Canada with his antics. I could see Junior showing up in traditional Ukrainian clothing, complete with blue and yellow socks, prancing around the city taking numerous selfies with his tongue stuck out, as locals in the background clean up the ruin of what used to be their homes.

Maybe he’d even stage a few photos of him running shirtless around the city.

He’d likely also take the opportunity to breathlessly tell Ukrainians that this would be a great time to go green; that when they re-build their cities, they should include as many solar panels and wind turbines as they can fit amongst the new buildings.

Tell me I’m wrong! Oy veh!

(No, you’ve pretty much summed up exactly how he would act)
