Trump derangement syndrome

February 2017

The leftists continue to lose their minds in the wake of the defeat of their anointed-one.  Now it appears that “Trump derangement syndrome” is rearing its ugly head.  In a recent Facebook exchange with a life-long friend, he advised me that Trump is exhibiting most of the signs of a fascist dictator and he feels that by the fall of 2017, Trump will establish concentration camps for “brown people.”

In what world does anyone think that is possible?  Weren’t we (the Allies) the ones who fought against fascism during WWII?  How could any president hope to enact a policy that will see anyone detained in concentration camps for the same reasons as the Nazis did to the Jews, Jehova’s Witnesses, Gypsies and other non-Ayrians?

Sure, some could argue that the U.S. has already done this with Guantanimo Bay (which Democratic President Obama didn’t close), but all those detained are accused of terrorism.  That’s a far cry from imprisoning, and later murdering, millions of Jews simply for being Jews.

A federal court judge in Detroit blocked Trump’s immigration ban on 3 February, not long after he signed the Executive Order.  Under a true fascist regime, this would not be possible as the judiciary would cede to the wishes of the regime.  I don’t think there were too many people who were not convicted when Judge Roland Freisler was sitting on the bench of The People’s Court (google him if you don’t know who he is).

The only ones “exploiting their fears” of the angry crowds are the Democratic supporters. I know a lot of people like to say Trump is like Hitler, but there is no comparison. I don’t believe for one second that Americans would ever let America become like Nazi Germany. It’s too in their blood to resist that kind of tyranny. There are too many guns in the hands of private citizens who are willing to use them to oppose such a fascist takeover.

Of course, the big kicker is that the “Office of the President” is more powerful than the person occupying the Oval Office. Remember what happened to Kennedy? Even if you don’t believe the conspiracy theories, it’s kinda coincidental that he wanted to pull out Vietnam and smash the CIA to pieces, but after his assassination, the Vietnam War kicked into high-gear and the CIA has remained untouched ever since.

I think all the Trump-haters should re-direct their energy into finding a candidate for the 2020 election who isn’t so despised that someone like Trump is the better choice.
