Trudeau is a coward and our allies have noticed

December 2021

How hard can it be? There has been much debate as to whether Canada should boycott the upcoming Olympic Games in Beijing, either diplomatically or by refusing to send out athletes. U.S. President Joe Biden recently announced that America will diplomatically boycott the games, something that the Chinese Communist Party has already condemned, stating China would take “resolute countermeasures.”

America’s stance should be all that Trudeau needs to know that Canada won’t be standing alone if we also announce a diplomatic boycott. What’s he waiting for, something that also applies to the banning of Huawei from Canada’s 5G network? How hard is it to stand with our allies? How hard is it to be on the right side of history. Trudeau refuses to stand up against Chinese aggression against the Uyghur Muslims, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the kidnapping of Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig, just to name a few things.

It appears that Trudeau’s admiration for the dictatorship of China is clouding his judgement. He is a coward who won’t stand up for Canada, both domestically and on the international stage, and this hardly the first time. Our allies are noticing.
