To Mayor David Miller: It’s great that you have decided to cut all unnecessary spending, including the renovations to your office, and are telling all departments to trim their budgets. This is what you should have in the first place rather than try to ram a new tax down the throats of Toronto citizens. Get your fiscal house in order first before you ask the citizens of Toronto to dig any deeper.
To Minister Greg Sorbara: it’s great that you are beginning to upload the services downloaded onto the cities, like Toronto, by the Harris Government. This is long overdue, but let me point out something obvious; you’ve had 4 years to do this. Mike Harris canceled photo radar within months of taking office. Your criticisms of Mike Harris’ government really ring hollow considering the time you’ve had to change things.
