This is getting out of control!! No, not climate change; the abuse of this child, Greta Thunberg. She is being emotionally abused by all those elite UN global warming hypocrites who applauded her speech. Let her go back home, go to school and hang out with other teenagers her age.
She is being used and emotionally abused by a bunch of champagne socialists who don’t give a damn about her, the planet or the children who will inherit it after they are gone.
All they care about are themselves, their private airplanes to jet off to exotic locations, their $40 New York Strip steaks, their fine cigars, their $200 bottles of wine, their executive hotel suites, their finely-tailored clothing, their gasoline-powered limos, their Rolex watches (I know I’m missing a few things here) and the high-horses they sit on, while telling us peasants that we are poisoning the planet and we will all die in a huge ball of fire if we don’t Render unto Caesar.
What a disgraceful lot!
As for Greta personally, if you are going to make an adult argument, then be prepared to answer adult questions like, what do you plan to do to tackle this issue? It’s one thing to sit there and lecture the rest of us, but what are your solutions, and are they practical and economically viable? The part of her being challenged on her beliefs and ideas is an important part of this discussion, and it should be a discussion; not a one-way scolding.
Maybe her ideas are valid and can be accomplished, some day if not now, but what are her ideas and can she even answer that question? It is arguable that she is simply parroting what she has been told by the adult activists who are using her as a front person, and really has no genuine understanding of the issue.
I have argued for years that we can simply to look back at our own cities to see just how far we have come in cleaning up and protecting our environment. What comes out of the factory smokestacks and car tailpipes is a cleaner and more fuel efficient than it’s ever been and getting better with advances in technology.
Our lakes and rivers have been cleaned up immensely from the time, not so long ago, when most were industrial dumping grounds. Are we perfect? No, but we are getting better and better, all without destroying our economy and modern way of life.

Believe it or not, but the advent of the automobile cleaned up cities because we no longer needed buggies pulled by horses and oxen who dedicate in the streets.
Why are some activists so intent on filling children like Greta with hysterical nonsense, making them live in fear of an “impending doom” that may never come to be. How long have climate activists been telling us of the “impending doom”? I can remember reading about “global warming” in the 1980s.
Does anyone remember Al Gore predicting in his 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, that the polar ice caps would be gone by 2014? Well, they’re still here in 2019.
As I said above, we must be good stewards of the environment, but let’s stick to facts, not “facts” that suit your agenda, and stop scaring our children or driving our children into serious mental health issues by telling them things that are simply not true.
