Liberal and media elites still don’t get it

The shameless antics of Hillary Clinton

It’s really getting embarrassing the lengths Hillary Clinton and the other Democrats are going to to de-legitimize President-elect Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 presidential election. Democrats are trying everything they can to explain Hillary’s loss: allegations of Russian hacking; the timing of the FBI’s second investigation into Hillary’s e-mails; the fact that she’s a woman; the fact that Trump supporters are “deplorables”; the fact that Trump didn’t win the popular vote, and on and on.

President Barrack Obama also stepped into the blame-game with “intelligence information” that he says proves the Russians were behind the hacking, which he and others claim rigged the election in favour of Trump. This from the man who once mocked Trump for his claim that the liberal media were rigging the election against him.

All these people are ignoring the fact that it doesn’t really matter who hacked the e-mails. What really did matter was what was said in the e-mails, which exposed the dishonesty and ruthless behaviour of the DNC and the liberal media in rigging their primary process in favour of Hillary to win the Democratic nomination and then the White House, at any cost. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has repeatedly denied that the Russians were behind the hacks, but even if the Russians were responsible, it still doesn’t change what’s in the e-mails.

The liberal elites got caught with their pants down and are now blaming the people who caught them, rather than owning up to their own reprehensible behaviour.

However, the Democrats aren’t the only ones to blame. The RNC did everything they could to block Trump from getting the nomination and when he succeeded, did everything they could do to hamper him, including refusing to officially endorse him.

The media also tried to rig the election against Trump by not reporting honestly. They had their own narrative and did their best to influence the outcome of the election.

Hillary lost because she is disliked by a LOT of people who see her as a cold, entitled, dishonest, morally bankrupt and corrupt elitist who has used her position for wealth and power and who really doesn’t care about the general population. I have heard over and over again from ordinary people, even from women, who have called her so unlikable that it trumped (no pun intended) any positives that could come from electing her as the first female president.

Hillary went from having a good chance of being the first female president, to being so reprehensible to many people that electing Trump was the better choice. Supporters didn’t care that Trump was boorish, obnoxious, misogynistic and speaks his mind regardless of the consequences. He may still be a complete disaster as president, but enough of the voters really didn’t care about that, which says a lot.

This is further proof that the media and establishment elites still don’t get it that Trump’s victory was a big middle finger to the political establishment, not the result of outside influence.

December 2016

It’s really getting embarrassing the lengths Hillary Clinton and the other Democrats are going to to de-legitimize President-elect Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 presidential election.  Democrats are trying everything they can to explain Hillary’s loss:  allegations of Russian hacking; the timing of the FBI’s second investigation into Hillary’s e-mails; the fact that she’s a woman; the fact that Trump supporters are “deplorables”; the fact that Trump didn’t win the popular vote, and on and on.

Of course we also have Saturday Night Live mocking Trump relentlessly, both before and after the campaign.  Their latest skit featured an actor playing Russian President Vladimir Putin, playing alongside Alec Baldwin as Trump, in yet another unfunny skit meant to whine about Trump’s victory.

Now even President Barrack Obama is stepping into the blame-game, with “intelligence information” that he says proves the Russians rigged the election in favour of Trump.  This from the man who once mocked Trump for his claim that the liberal media were rigging the election against him.  Apparently Obama had faith in the electoral system back then.  Oh right, he only had faith in it if Hillary won.  Got it!

Yeah, I guess the Democrats know a thing or two about rigged elections, don’t they.  The Wikileaks e-mail hacks exposed the dishonesty and ruthless behaviour of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the liberal media in rigging their primary process in favour of Hillary to be their nominee, at any cost.

Trump was roundly criticized and mocked for his insistence that the system was rigged, including by Hillary and Obama. Well is certainly was rigged, not by Putin, but by the Democrats, as well as the Republicans and the liberal media.

The Republican Party did everything they could to block Trump from getting the nomination and when he succeeded, did everything they could do to hamper him, including refusing to officially endorse him.

The media tried to rig the election against Trump by not reporting honestly. They had their own narrative and did their best to influence the outcome of the election. The Clinton News Network (CNN) for one, made complete fools of themselves with their biased reporting.

Yes, Democrats are trying everything they can to explain why Hillary Clinton lost the election; everything except admitting the truth.

How sad is that?

Supporters really didn’t care that Trump was boorish, obnoxious, misogynistic and speaks his mind regardless of the consequences. He may still be a complete disaster as president, but enough of the voters really didn’t care about that, which says a lot.

No matter how much Democrats mock Trump, or call him unfit to be president, he was legitimately elected by the voters of the United States and he is still going to be their president for the next four years, like it or not. While we’re all certainly going to enjoy the fun of late night talk shows and SNL mocking him relentlessly, as anyone with a sense of humour should, maybe the Democrats should also concentrate on picking a better candidate next time.

Maybe Bernie Sanders will forgive them and run again, once he gets the knife out of his back.
