The rules of Fight Club…

Published in the Toronto Sun

31 October 2020

While I certainly don’t condone what Sam Oosterhoff did, why don’t we wait to see if anyone from that gathering comes down with the Chinese Communist Party Virus before we go all “Salem Witch Trial” and burn Sam at the stake? If there are no positive tests, perhaps we just tar and feather him instead (metaphorically), and put away the torches.

Also, I’d like to impart some free advice to Sam. As my favourite criminal lawyer, Saul Goodman, might say: “Don’t commit a crime, but if you do, don’t be stupid enough to post it on Social Media.”

The first rule of Fight Club: You don’t talk about Fight Club!

The second rule of Fight Club: You don’t talk about Fight Club!

(But when you’re part of a government that is ordering everybody else to act one way, you had better be adhering to that as well)
