So who’s the deplorable? – Trump cleared and Trudeau keeps sinking

March 2019

For two years, Robert Muller has been investigating allegations the President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election. Now the report has been released and Muller has concluded that despite the fact that many, many left-wing pundits, politicians and celebrities have been saying Trump’s impeachment is imminent, there was no collusion with the Russians or any other illegal behaviour on the part of President Trump!

Sure, many other Trump associates have been convicted and/or charged with offences, but none of them have anything to do with Russian collusion or even the Trump campaign itself. This after Muller interviewed 500 witnesses and issued 3500 subpoenas and warrants.

In other news, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau continues to dig himself into a deeper and deeper hole with the release of additional written testimony, e-mails and text messages from former Justice Minister and Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould, including a 17 minute recorded conversation she had with retiring Clerk of the Privy Council Michael Wernick in which he is clearly pressuring her to drop the prosecution against SNC Lavalin under direction of the Prime Minister.

So who’s the deplorable? Trump may be an obnoxious jerk, but there’s no proof he’s a criminal or a traitor. Things aren’t looking so good legally for Prime Minister Sunny Ways (allegedly).
