The WE scandal just keeps showing that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is either colossally incompetent, or just plain corrupt, neither of which are good. There is an oblivious arrogance (or ignorance) to the fact that just because Trudeau thinks he is doing good, that he can do whatever he wants to do. This is the third time he has run afoul of ethics laws.
So let me get this straight: According to Trudeau’s testimony at the Finance Committee hearings and comments made the following day, the “Professional Public Service” are incompetent bullies who forced him to approve the granting of an almost $1 billion contract to WE Charity, so that WE could run a type of program that the public service are fully capable of running. Not to be outdone, Trudeau attempted to stop the bullying Public Service from forcing him to give this program over to WE, but ultimately they were too powerful for the powers of Trudeau’s great hair and “rock star” status.
Due to the outrage from Canadians, us Godless, heartless grinches, the program has now been cancelled. As a result students across Canada will starve to death, there will be no Christmas, and no one will get a puppy this year. Do I have that about right?
