Liberal campaign gets off to an ironic start

September 2019

The Liberal Party of Canada’s election campaign got off to an ironic start when their campaign media bus struck the left-wing of their campaign airplane on the tarmac at the Victoria, B.C. Airport on Wednesday night, 11 September.

The bus had just picked up the journalists traveling with the campaign, when it scraped the underside of the left-wing while driving under it, leaving visible damage. The jokes came fast and furious.

Former National Citizens Coalition … which was first publicized on twitter by NCC director Stephen Taylor joked that, “Justin Trudeau threw Jody Wilson-Raybould under the bus. Then just to make sure, he threw the bus under the plane.”

I was advised that witnesses have reported seeing a woman with long, dark hair running from the scene, laughing and shouting, “Throw me under the bus, will ya! How do you like that, bitches?!”

The driver has been identified as Homer J. Simpson, 38, of Springfield.  The investigation is continuing.
